Fascinating show! Xylatol sounds really wonderful, and that is so totally cool that stomach acids can do that to a razor blade!! You know, I had wondered about that because several years ago I read I think in Guiness Book that there’s this man who eats metal, and lots of it!! Not that that is healthy, but maybe he has an even stronger stomach acid than everyone else does. It’s also interesting what stress can do to your digestion. I’m looking forward to listening to part 2 of this show!

That is what scared me before my husband went in for bariatric surgery. It’s not natural to not have your stomach. It might have bought some time for my husband who was pushing 400#, but how long can anyone really live without a stomach?

And if stress cuts the production of acids in the stomach, that could lead to a lot of stomach problems like agravating hiatal hernias, and disrupting the balance of bacteria… .
